The Innovative and Computational Science Lab, College of Arts, Media and Technology, in collaboration with the Department of Emergency Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, has implemented the CMU–M Track system as a pilot project to support student safety during the 2025 Freshmen Mountain Walk (Up the Mountain Tradition) at Chiang Mai University.
This system enhances the efficiency of medical monitoring and safety management throughout the event, particularly in emergency situations.

Students participating in the event as the system will be monitored and managed directly by the organizing and medical teams throughout the route.
