We attended the steering committee meeting of the Astra project, which has been operational for more than two years. The project was established to provide training and consulting services for research funding in various regions. Chiang Mai University is one of the funding members of the Center and presented the progress of the project, the establishment plan, and activities conducted during the implementation period, including the final phase.

The Astra project aims to open a consulting center for its members to apply for research grants from the European Union and other funding sources. During the meeting, the project proposals were discussed and adjusted in preparation for re-applying for EU funding for new research topics, which will be supported by the project's partners.

The meeting was an opportunity to review the Astra project's achievements, discuss its future plans, and ensure that the project remains on track to achieve its objectives.
