Assistant Professor Dr. Orawit Tinnukool, Head of the Innovative Research and Competitive Science Lab at the College of Media Arts and Technology, Chiang Mai University, is leading the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility Project. This project marks a significant partnership between Chiang Mai University and the University of Florence, Italy. After the research lab with the College of Media Arts and Technology had a relationship and signed a cooperation agreement in 2023.

The nnovative Research and Competitive Science Lab and the College of Media Arts and Technology have been awarded scholarships under the Erasmus+ program for both staff and students, to be implemented from 2023 to 2025. The first cohort of students has traveled to the University of Florence to study relevant courses for one semester and engage in academic and cultural exchange activities aimed at enhancing their skills and competencies.

This semester, the University of Florence is hosting over 80 students from partner universities participating in the program. The project also includes staff exchange from the College of Media Arts and Technology, encompassing both academic and administrative roles, supported throughout the project duration.

This collaboration signifies a successful step in fostering international partnerships, offering valuable opportunities for academic and professional development for students and staff alike, and enhancing global engagement for the college and Chiang Mai University.
