Assistant Professor Dr. Worawit Janchai, Dean of the College of Arts, Media, and Technology (CAMT), along with Assistant Professor Dr. Orawit Thinnukool, Acting of the Dean to International Collaboration and Fundraising; Assistant Professor Dr. Phattaraporn Khuwuthyakorn, faculty member and CMU project managers of the European Commission Fund; and Assistant Professor Dr. Atchara Khamakson, Acting of the Dean to Knowledge Development and Innovation Management and Head of the Knowledge Development and Innovation Center, participated in a partnership signing ceremony with the Transport Risk Management Centre, at Imperial College London.
In this event, Assistant Professor Dr. Worawit Janchai, Dean of CAMT, signed the agreement with Professor Arnab Majumdar, Director of the Transport Risk Management Centre and Deputy Director of the London Interdisciplinary Social Science Doctoral Training Partnership. The partnership encompasses collaborative research on artificial intelligence in healthcare, short-term student exchange programs, and efforts to seek relevant funding opportunities.
Starting in 2025, CAMT’s Innovative Research and Computational Science Group will embark on projects focused on studying the relationship between sleep-related disorders and their correlation with accidents. These efforts will involve collaboration with both internal and external institutions, including the Sriphat Medical Center, Faculty of Medicine, and etc. The project will integrate academic learning and research, engaging students and external experts to align with CAMT’s policy of creating advanced learning opportunities and experiences.
