Dr. Orawit and Dr. Pattaraporn made a trip to the University of Bologna to meet with Prof. Raya Mutarak. The purpose of their meeting was to discuss potential research collaborations between Chiang Mai University (CMU) and the University of Bologna.

Currently, Prof. Raya Mutarak is a member of the Department of Statistics, where she conducts research on population studies.

During their visit, Dr. Pattaraporn inquired about potential research collaborations between CAMT, CMU, and any data science programs offered by the Department of Statistics, as data science is a key element of multidisciplinary research. Additionally, they discussed the possibility of applying for EU project funding for future collaborations between partners in Asia and EU universities, presenting a promising opportunity to build partnerships and conduct further research together.
