Dr. Achara Khamaksorn , a CAMT academic,has been awarded a grant to develop the skills of new faculty members as an Academic Visit Researcher, in collaboration with leading universities in the United Kingdom.

The grant, which is provided by the Office of the Higher Education Commission's Science, Research, and Innovation (HSRI) for the fiscal year 2021, will support a research project titled "Knowledge Management in Collaborative Innovation and Relationships of International Construction Joint Venture Project in Thailand: A Social Network Perspective." This research aims to focus on the management of knowledge and innovation in international construction joint ventures in Thailand, and will examine the perspective of the social network involved in these projects.

The goal of this research is to improve the knowledge and skills of new faculty members, and to enhance the collaboration and relationships between Thailand and other countries in the field of construction.

At this time,Dr. Achara Khamaksorn is conducting research and has the opportunity to be a Full-time Academic Visit Researcher under the supervision of Professor Joseph H.M. Tah of the Faculty of Technology, Design and Environment, Oxford Brookes University in the United Kingdom for 1 year from November 1, 2022 to October 31, 2023.

Through the research project and the opportunity for the researcher to be an Academic Visit Researcher, it is considered a good starting point for the development of personnel (brain power) by utilizing a mechanism for developing advanced skills and research with leading our college of Arts, Media and Technology, under the policy of Chiang Mai University for human resource development according to the 13th University Development Plan, which has a policy to develop human resources to meet the needs of the university and society in the digital age.
