ASTRA partners’ meeting – 10-11 October 2022

Dr.Orawit, Dr. Pattaraporn, Dr. Uraiwan and Assistant manager Sirin as the ASTRA partners take to the meeting in Phuket, Thailand on the 10th-11th October 2022. They discussed the progress of all Work Packages and all the final details for the project’s Management meeting.

ESCS the representative of the CMU takes to the consortium discussed the progress of the project, including report of the design and the capacity building phase, the set up and pilot operation of the Hubs.

Moreover, the meeting discussed the progress of the work package 6 and work package 7 (in management). Issues regarding the quality assurance and evaluation and the dissemination activities were also discussed. The consortium updated the timetable and the corresponding milestones and deadlines and set the next steps for the following months!

The project’s Management train to the trainer course which will be held in University of Florence, Italy  on the 7-12  November 2022.

The overall goal of the ASTRA is to enhance the financial sustainability and to secure additional funding for promoting the research activities in the areas of ICT and Social Sciences in the four participating Universities from Laos and Thailand. The objective of the project is to support the operation of Higher Education Institutions in Laos and Thailand, by increasing their staff’s capacity for accessing financial resources through the exploitation of relevant donour-funded Research and Development Programmes and by offering state-of-the-art consulting support services to private clients. In practice, 4 Research & Development Innovation Centres will be established (one in each participating Partner university) for serving the above-mentioned purposes.
