With this in mind, we extend a warm welcome to Professor Cindy from the Management Department at Ancell School of Business, Connecticut State University, who recently visited our research group in Embedded Systems and Computing Science at the College of Art, Media, and Technology ,CMU.

Professor Cindy (Blue Shrit)

Collaboration between researchers from distant locations can be rare, particularly in the field of Artificial Intelligence applied to management and business administration. However, the research group expressed their interest in building cooperation in accordance with the university's international cooperation policies, as outlined in the 13th University Development Plan, without any financial support from the university.
Professor Cindy made an informal visit to Chiang Mai University.

The collaboration with Professor Cindy arose after the head of the research group, Asst. Prof. Dr. Orawit Thinnukool, attended a meeting to discuss cooperation guidelines at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology last year. During his journey, he had the opportunity to meet Professor Cindy, and subsequent discussions and exchanges in various fields led to the formation of a more intimate relationship.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Pattaraporn Khuwutayakorn participated in the warm and friendly welcome party for Professor Cindy. In the past, Dr. Pattaraporn was responsible for facilitating document processing and negotiating collaborations with global institutions, as well as securing research funding from abroad.
Despite already having strong relationships with some of the world's leading universities, the research group views this collaboration and goodwill with Professor Cindy as an opportunity to strengthen their research network, facilitate integration, and develop relevant research that will have a significant impact and reflect positively on the university's future indicators.

Thus, Professor Cindy's recent visit to Chiang Mai University served as a promising starting point for the research group to receive support and expand their research networks with leading universities worldwide. Moving forward, there are plans for bilateral discussions and visits to continue strengthening these relationships.
