On August 27, 2024, Dr. Abdullah Raza Lakhan, a senior researcher from Kristiania University College, delivered a special lecture to students and faculty at Chiang Mai University. The seminar, titled “Beyond Horizons: Exploring New Trends in AI and Computing Technologies,” was attended by both undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as researchers and faculty members interested in the latest advancements in AI and computing.
Throughout the week 26-30 August 2024, Dr. Abdullah Lakhan visited Chiang Mai University as a technology expert and researcher. He shared his knowledge and experience with students and organized technology seminars for graduate students, guided by faculty members in the research group. These seminars helped students plan their research correctly
Additionally, there was a demonstration on how student researchers can request high-performance computing services from Scandinavian countries. The researchers explained the efficiency of these systems and allowed seminar participants to try them out. They also provided guidelines for applying for these services, which are very useful for researchers and graduate students who need advanced data processing capabilities.
During the section share representatives from the Innovative Computer & Advanced Technology research group, led by Dr. Theppharit Sinthamrongrak, Assistant Professor Dr. Chalermpol Kongjit and students, presented their research, which is ready for commercialization and further development through research funding to drive innovation.
