Chiang Mai University is a university that focuses in frontier research to create new knowledge and advances in science that produce upstream technologies that can be applied in many fields. In the future, we might establish a cooperation in science research in which Thailand and the UK have long been close cooperations in various fields.

In recent years Prof. Arnab’ research has focused on the human and social factors associated with human behaviour when there is a threat to life, e.g. during a knife attack,  toxic substances, and medical health informatics. To do this he has used a combination of experimental methods including virtual reality and wearable technologies.

This initiative particularly emphasizes collaboration with teams from Imperial College London, the world’s second-ranked university. This marks the initial success of the collaboration between CAMT and its international partner institution. CAMT’s Innovative Research and Computational Science Group is committed to advancing the agreement, seeking funding opportunities, and expanding international collaborations in alignment with Chiang Mai University’s 13th Strategic Plan.
