The project Continuation from EU partners, specifically the KA171 Erasmus+ project, is currently in the proposal submission process to the European Union with Assistant Professor Dr. Orawit Thinnukool and Assistant Professor Dr.Pattaraporn Khuwuthyakorn serving as the project leader.

Successful implementation of the project is expected to enable Chiang Mai University to enhance its personnel development through academic research, student exchanges, professor collaborations, and other partnerships with the University of Florence, an esteemed university in Italy with a robust network of Erasmus and other EU partners. This will establish a bilateral partnership between the College of Arts, Media and Technology (CAMT) Embedded System and Computational Science Lab and the University of Florence's Department of Social and Political Sciences (DSPS) for conducting research collaboration and networking in the European Union. The Rector of Chiang Mai University has already approved and signed the AGREEMENT OF CULTURAL AND SCIENTIFIC COOPERATION resulting from this partnership since 20 Feb 2023.

The grant sought the aid of Chiang Mai University's research network in supporting foreign research endeavors, an initiative that the university has consistently encouraged, both directly and indirectly.
